With the frontend publication you can choose from:

  • Author List: menu item will shows all authors
  • Single author: menu item will show all book from that author
  • Single book: this will show a single book choosen
  • Categories: this option will show the whole library categorized
  • Category: this will show all books from only that category
  • Tag group: this will shows all tags
  • Tag: this will shows all books with same tag
  • Search: the visitor will get the Alexandria Book Library search engine

Alexandria Book Library can be published more times on the same site. This way let you to improve you site with many different views.

Moreover Alexandria Book Library include:

  • A plugin to improve the joomla search: when a visitor search something in tour site, plg_search_abook plugin will return results from library too
  • A plugin to insert one or more books in your documents: this plugin let you to show books in all of your articles you want
  • A plugin for Xmap component: with that Xmap will show also your library in the site map (useful for Google too!)
  • A sh404 plugin for SEF urls
  • A jComment plugin integration: your visitors will be able to comment your books!
  • An "All in one" configurable module to show:
    - a related books module: through meta keys (or search keys) used on books this module can show a list of related books relative to that the user is showing
  • - a latest book published
    - a most viewed books
    - a most voted books
    - a random books

 

All of this modules and plugins are also free an open source and can be installed separately.
